Baby Buds – Ages 1-2
Children in our Baby Buds Program are growing quickly in all areas of their lives. It is in this program that children will take their first steps, speak their first words, and begin to explore their boundless curiosities. Our program encourages children to use their minds, bodies, and senses in a hands-on and experiential approach that helps them to begin to understand the world around them and pushes them to be boundlessly curious. Each day in our Baby Buds program is ripe with exciting experiences and challenges carefully crafted to develop social, physical, and cognitive skills. The Baby Buds Program focuses on:

Language & Literacy Development
言語と読解力の発達
- Utilize one and two word phrases to express wants and needs, to ask questions, and to identify people and objects
1語、2語文を使って、欲求、要求を伝える。質問をしたり人や物の認識ができる - Explore early writing skills by line and patter tracing, as well as coloring and scribbling
線や模様のなぞり書き、色塗り、落書きなどを通して書く基礎能力を養う - Demonstrate early reading behaviors by turning pages of books and babbling or verbalizing at pictures
ページをめくったり、写真や絵を見ながら言葉を発したり、言語化していくことで本を読む時の姿勢を学ぶ - Build vocabulary for a variety of objects

身体能力の発達と整合
- Develop increased dexterity in their hands required to manipulate objects
手や指先を器用に使って物を操ったり動かす能力を高める - Begin both walking and running

キック、投げる、転がる、タンブリング(マット運動など)を伴うアクティビティに挑戦する - Demonstrate some interest in using the toilet, and other self-help skills

遊びと行動を通じて因果関係を探求する - Demonstrate interest in identifying and verbalizing letters and letter sounds
アルファベットの認識や音の認識に取り組む - Make efforts to follow simple rules and control impulses
